The Department of Philosophy is a center for philosophical formation. Its programs allow students, teachers, and scholars to dialogue with the best thinkers in the history of Western as well as Asian  philosophy. Thus, they can engage their world as thinkers and leaders with a keen awareness of the complexities of contemporary issues and the foundations of our hope.
